June 20

Open House and Book Signing by Texas Authors

Two Texas authors will be talking about and signing their books at the Ruth Stetson Community Center.  Robert Costelloe is the author of Pocket Piece Cameo and Philip Caudill is the author of Moss Bluff Rebel, a book about a former Liberty County sheriff/cattleman.

The open house is also being held to celebrate the re-opening of the community center after damage sustained during Hurricane Ike.  Refreshments will be served.  Everyone is invited.

The library has created a special "Texas Section" featuring books about Texas and by Texas authors.  Also included are Texas historical artifacts and photos.  Tarkington historical books, Christmas ornaments, and calendars are available for purchase.  This section is located along with the other non-fiction books upstairs in the library.
